Gentle Stretch Yoga is a Yoga practice that is suited for almost anyone of any age. The class is 45 minutes and consists of warm-up breathing exercises followed by poses that are done either sitting on a chair or standing. Some students like to use the chair as they begin to re-teach their body balance. The class finishes with a short guided meditation and little taste of Laughter Yoga. You do not need a yoga mat for this class but we have them available in the studio.
What to Wear: Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable, loose clothing. Also, please bring a bottle of water along to class.
Laughter Yoga is a form of yoga that doesn’t require poses and postures but does include the benefits of yoga breathing. Participants will learn the many health benefits of laughter yoga that include lowered blood pressure, increased immunity and better respiratory health and actually practice some laughter yoga exercises. You’ll leave feeling relaxed and may enjoy the best night of sleep you’ve had in years.
